Welcome to North End Nursery

We are based in Portsmouth for children aged 2–5 years, offering child-led learning, outdoor play and funded childcare in a caring, Christian environment.

At North End Nursery we believe in nurturing the whole child and supporting the whole family. Childhood is a precious time for curiosity, exploration, and discovery, and our approach is designed to support every aspect of your child's development.

We embrace Child-Led Learning, allowing children to follow their own interests, which guides their play and learning experiences. Our Natural and Play-Based philosophy incorporates open-ended, nature-inspired resources that foster creativity, focus, and a deep connection with the world around them.

We are committed to Holistic Development, supporting emotional, social, physical, cognitive, and spiritual growth. Through gentle routines and nurturing relationships, we prioritise Emotional and Spiritual Wellbeing, helping to cultivate empathy, resilience, and a strong sense of self.
