Safeguarding
We take safeguarding very seriously – and we do all we can to provide a healthy and safe environment for everyone.
At North End Nursery we have a dedicated team who oversee all our safeguarding activities and procedures.
We are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children in our care. We recognise our legal and moral duty to protect every child from harm and to provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment in which they can thrive academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually.
We believe that a strong safeguarding culture is not defined by policy alone, it is built through the daily actions, language, and behaviours of our staff, volunteers, and wider nursery community.
Safeguarding is a shared responsibility, and it is only effective when it is lived out in practice consistently, confidently, and with the best interests of the child at the centre.
All staff undergo regular safeguarding training, including induction training and annual refreshers, to ensure they are confident in identifying signs of abuse, neglect, or exploitation.
